A Bountiful Thanksgiving Feast
Awaits at Harrah's Laughlin
LAUGHLIN, NV -- Leave the pots and pans at home and dine
at Harrah's Laughlin Casino & Hotel this Thanksgiving. Sumptuous Thanksgiving feasts will be
offered within Harrah's restaurants on Thursday, Nov. 24, 2005. Delectable
Thanksgiving meals will be offered at the Range Steakhouse, Baja Blue Restaurant & Cantina,
Cabo Cafe and the award-winning Fresh Market Square Buffet. Or, you may enjoy
Harrah's Laughlin’s new Thanksgiving "to go" dinner at home.
The Range Steakhouse offers holiday diners entrée choice of roasted
tom turkey chop with lingonberry conserve topped with apple brandy gravy, Yukon
Gold mashed potatoes, spaghetti squash with wild mushrooms, miniature root
vegetables and traditional sage dressing for $24 plus tax a person, or crispy
potato wrapped sea bass accompanied by porcini mushroom risotto and smoked
tomato beurre blanc for $38 plus tax a person. All entrées are served
with a special Thanksgiving Range house salad tossed in a champagne vinaigrette
with julienne Fuji apples and peppered Chevre cheese. A tasty bourbon and butternut
squash bisque soup may be added to the meal for an additional $9plus tax a
person. Dessert choice of brandied pumpkin crème brulee with Chantilly
cream and candied walnuts or a cranberry and mandarin orange tart served with
white chocolate gelato completes the meal for an additional $6 plus tax a person.
The regular Range Steakhouse menu will be available. The dining hours for Thanksgiving

Harrah’s Laughlin’s Baja
Blue Restaurant & Cantina serves up
an inviting south-of-the-border Thanksgiving dinner beginning with roasted
Poblano chile bisque soup topped with pico de gallo, queso fresco and tortilla
chips followed by pasilla glazed turkey mignons stuffed with Anaheim chilies
and served with pumpkin seed stuffing and Sonoran spice vegetables. A special
Baja Thanksgiving salad of baby field greens and roasted corn salsa topped
with Patron ranch dressing complements the tasty entrée. Drunken sweet
potato pie served in a mini-pumpkin and topped with pecan crunch ice cream completes
the meal. The Baja Blue Thanksgiving
dinner is served from 4:30 p.m. till closing for $14.99 plus tax a person.
The regular Baja Blue menu will be available.
For a hearty meal in a casual
atmosphere, the Cabo Café offers a traditional
Thanksgiving meal for $14.99 plus tax a person. Diners will enjoy a tasty crudités
plate featuring carrot and celery sticks, deviled eggs served with cranberry
sauce and gherkins as well as a choice of chef's soup of the day or dinner
salad. A choice of entrée includes slow roasted tom turkey served with
turkey gravy, whipped potatoes, sage dressing and green bean casserole or glazed
baked ham covered in pineapple sherry sauce served with candied yams, whipped
potatoes and orange walnut glazed carrots. The holiday meal includes choice
of pumpkin pie or pecan pie topped with bourbon Chantilly cream or Dutch apple
cheesecake baked with a gingersnap crust and served with a caramel gelato.
The 24-hour Cabo Café will continue to offer its regular menu serving
the holiday menu only from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. Thanksgiving Day.
In addition
to the extensive menu offered at the Fresh Market Square Buffet, there will
also be traditional Thanksgiving fare to please every palate. Diners
will find roasted Tom turkey, bourbon glazed bone-in ham and prime rib with
au jus, carved to order, along with roasted chicken served with sun-dried
cranberry and orange relish, pork loin with port and fig chutney, and red Zinfandel
braised
beef ribs. Seafood offerings feature Cajun fried catfish, crayfish etoufee,
jambalaya, grilled salmon with plum tomatoes, peel and eat shrimp and snow
crab legs. An assortment of trimmings includes holiday favorites such as
butternut squash soup, candied yams, green bean casserole, creamed spinach,
peas and
pearl onions. A variety of dressings include sage stuffing, sausage and fennel
stuffing and Poblano chilies and pumpkin seed stuffing. Enjoy an array of
tempting desserts such as pumpkin pie, sweet potato cake with orange cream
cheese frosting,
cranberry swirl cheesecake and assorted cakes and tarts. The special Thanksgiving
menu items will be served from 11 a.m. till closing in the Fresh Market Square
Buffet for $15.99 plus tax a person.
Thanksgiving celebrants may also enjoy
a Harrah’s culinary feast “to
go.” A special take out dinner is available for $50 plus tax. Serving
a family of four, the take out offering features a twelve pound slow-roasted
turkey, whipped new potatoes, turkey gravy, traditional sage dressing, cranberry
sauce, dinner rolls and pumpkin pie.
Orders must be placed by Nov. 21 and are
available for pick up at the Cabo Café starting at 9 a.m. on Thanksgiving
Day. Casino employees presenting a valid employee identification and seniors
age 65 and older receive a 10% discount at time of purchase. To place your
