Nikki Zeno Wins Miss Hawaiian Tropic Latin Pageant
CONTEST HELD AT COLORADO BELLE

Nikki Zeno of Canyon County, California, has won the Miss Hawaiian Tropic Latin Pageant, sanctioned by Hawaiian Tropic International. The event was hosted by Colorado Belle Hotel Casino & Microbrewery on October 8, 2005 during the property’s 2nd Annual Viva! Laughlin Festival. Miss Zeno, a 29-year-old of Puerto Rican heritage, received top scores given by judges from a field of 10 contestants, earning a $750 cash prize and $200 in Colorado Belle dining and gift shop certificates in the process. The 5’ 5”, 110-pound brown-eyed brunette is looking forward to being one of “Barker’s Beauties” on the Bob Barker television game show “The Price is Right”, the first Latina to earn this honor in 10 years!

Jessica Settle, a 22-year-old Coronado, California, college student was the event’s first runner-up. This was Miss Settle’s fourth Colorado Belle competition--she was the 2004 Western Regional Finals 4th runner-up, the winner of Colorado Belle’s Miss Hawaiian Tropic Laughlin title in April, 2005, and the 2005 Western Regional Finals 1st runner-up in September, 2005. Miss Settle received $500 and $100 in Colorado Belle dining and gift shop certificates.

Jessica Wolf, a Newport Beach, California, resident earned second runner-up and $250 plus $50 in Colorado Belle dining and gift shop certificates. Josephine Dalton of Huntington Beach, California, was third runner-up in the pageant, and received $150 cash and $25 in Colorado Belle dining and gift shop certificates. Miss Dalton was also named “Fans’ Choice”, an honor voted upon by festival attendees during a 2-hour photo session Friday evening.

Kristy Lauzon, of Newport Beach, California, was named fourth runner-up, receiving $150 and $25 in Colorado Belle dining and gift shop certificates.
